Eczema Causes

There are several different types of eczema, and there is a range of
eczema causes
and triggers accordingly. Many people believe that one of the eczema
causes is genetically related, and is therefore considered to be a
hereditary condition. This means that someone in your family either has
eczema or have a history of asthma or allergies (atopic eczema). It is
common that eczema patients also suffer from other allergies related
sickness. The environmental conditions, such as heat, dry air, and
irritants, also plays a major role that triggers eczema. When
hereditary meets the right (or wrong for you) environmental conditions,
an itchy and puffy breakout can occur. Atopic eczema patients typically
suffer from allergens that are generally harmless to most other people.
The patients’ immune systems overreact and cause eczema break outs.
Eating certain foods and being around allergen triggers can exacerbate
the condition. Most people believe that atopic eczema is a long term
condition since it is caused by overactive immune system.
Hereditary is only one of the eczema causes. Another type of eczema is
Contact Dermatitis. Regular contact with common substances, such as
detergents or chemicals, is the cause of contact dermatitis. Typical
irritants include feathers, plants, animal hair, detergents, cleaning
agents, cosmetics, jewelry, clothing, sweating, bacteria, can all
trigger eczema. You skin have an allergic reaction to these substance,
which causes your skin to break out. Flare ups can be caused by
sickness, and mental or physical stress.
